·当代中国家具设计视野还不宽广、历史高度尚未建立、设计理论还很稚嫩且未成体系。
·传统思维与想当然的做法根深蒂固。
·我们需要重新定义设计。
·从本质上讲，设计是在行动之前先想好该怎么做，设计是把事情做得更好的途径，设计要从战术层面上升到战略层面来统筹。
·设计不仅仅是把方案或做出原型就交给生产部门了事，而是要在产业链各个环节中都负起责任。
·设计不仅仅是产品，还有服务，产品加服务等于解决方案。
·设计不仅仅满足生产与销售，还要贯穿整个生命周期。
·设计不仅仅服务于商业世界，还得承担社会责任，设计必须满足经济、社会和环境的可持续发展。
·从这个意义上来看，也许我们需要重回启蒙。
